JIM BASEY APPOINTED TO STATE BANKING BOARD
Centennial Bank Chairman & CEO to fill post on Board of Directors
Denver, CO (May 31, 2012) – Centennial Bank announces the appointment of Jim Basey, Chairman, President and CEO of Centennial Bank to the Colorado State Banking Board of Directors.
Basey was recently appointed by Governor, John Hickenlooper. Colorado State Senator, Cheri Jahn, said in a statement, "These boards and the volunteers, such as yourself, who serve on them are vital to the state's interest. You are invaluable to the community you represent as you are the experts in the fields in which you serve."
The nine-member Governor-appointed Colorado State Banking Board is the policy and rulemaking authority for the Division of Banking. The Banking Board consists of five members who are executive officers of commercial banks, an executive officer of a trust company, an executive officer of a money transmitter company, and two public members.
