Security and protection from identity theft are the first questions that come to mind when considering an Internet Banking account.  Centennial Bank protects access to your Internet Banking account by using high-security controls. First, the Internet connection to your account is automatically encrypted to keep others from intercepting your account information.  Once the initial connection is made, we employ the latest in multi-factor authentication to verify your identity.  We begin by creating a profile of which computers you use to access your account and the types of transactions you normally perform.  Should our systems receive a request that does not fit this profile, even when the correct user name and password is used, we will ask you to respond to secret questions that only you know the answers to.  If the answers are incorrect, the account will be flagged as a security risk and require intervention from Centennial Bank to allow future access to the account.
